Cast Coating Line 

Kerone’s cast coating lines are engineered with precision casting drums, advanced tension control, and highly stable drying environments to ensure flawless transfer of the drum’s polished surface onto the coating. The system accommodates aqueous, solvent-based, and reactive chemistries, making it suitable for specialty films, packaging layers, high-end decorative materials, and technical membranes. The engineering emphasizes thermal stability, minimal vibration, and accurate rheology management, ensuring consistent, defect-free output even at high line speeds.
Coating/ Casting Line assembly consists of an integrated robust steel structure with a solid, level platform that uniformly supports the moving of the web on the surface. Depending upon the need for coating/casting the coater can be changed and adjusted. Kerone machines are equipped with advanced microprocessor-controlled digital closed-loop feedback systems that monitor and control the smoothness of carrier or web to achieve the uniform films. Casting/coating machines built by Kerone consist of high-quality tape caster/coater, those are commonly used to produce the layer of desired thickness with minimum tolerance.
The drying chamber plays an equally important role in Coating/Casting systems like that of applicators. To cur coat/cast films properly with best results, a drying space consists of forced, filtered, and preheated air which is continuously drawn over the moving web in a counter-flow direction for convective drying, solvent gradient control, and exhaust removal. Drying results can be improved by deploying heater under the bed heaters with temperature control, results in extending the length of machines and providing better drying results.
