Thermocouple Ceramic Infrared Heaters are a specialized variant of ceramic infrared heaters that incorporate a thermocouple directly within the heater body for precise, real-time temperature measurement and control. Kerone’s Thermocouple Ceramic Infrared Heaters combine the proven thermal performance of ceramic infrared emitters with integrated temperature sensing, enabling closed-loop process control without the need for separate, externally mounted thermocouples. The ceramic emitter material provides a stable, broad-spectrum infrared radiation source at element temperatures between 300°C and 700°C, making these heaters suitable for a wide range of industrial heating and drying applications.
Kerone’s Thermocouple Ceramic Infrared Heaters are available in flat, corrugated, and tubular ceramic emitter formats with integrated type K or type J thermocouple elements. The heaters are supplied with standard terminal heads or flying lead connections for easy installation and wiring. Power ratings range from 100W to 2000W per element, with operating temperatures up to 700°C. Custom heater sizes, shapes, and thermocouple configurations are available to meet specific installation requirements. The heaters are suitable for use in both ambient and forced convection environments, providing robust performance across diverse application conditions.
The need for a controlled Infrared heating system was a specific requirement from customers. To address this need, KERONE has developed the Thermocouple Ceramic Infrared Heaters, which is an augmentation of thermocouple and ceramic infrared heaters. A thermocouple made of Nickel and Nichrome (NiCr-Ni) is fitted near the heating coil and connected to a temperature controller to achieve and maintain the desired temperature accurately.
