Magnesia powder (MgO)is used as the filling for our tubular electrical heating elements. These elements are used for applications where there is contact with air or liquids such as electric cooker rings, storage heaters, washing machines, and diesel engine glow plugs. Fused magnesia has the ideal combination of electrical resistance and thermal conductivity. The MgO forms a layer between the element and the outer sheath.
The heaters are manufactured by insulating MgO in tubular heating elements, which are further compacted by reducing the element diameter. The elements are then annealed in a controlled atmosphere furnace to relieve the metal stressing that takes place during the rolling to size reduction of the sheath. These heaters are known for their effective functioning in the electrical and the process industry.
We manufacture these heaters in a variety of shapes and sizes that are offered to our clients as per their individual heating specifications and application requirements. We make use of high-grade sheath material such as stainless steel, copper and titanium. The usage of the sheet material depends entirely on the working temperature required. Our range of Tubular Heaters is used for heating air, water, oil and similar kinds of fluids.
