ELECTRIC SOLDER MELTING POTS
DESCRIPTION
Kerone’s Electric Solder Melting Pots and Tanks are elegantly designed and ruggedly constructed. These are available in wide range of capacities to suit general requirement in round and rectangular shapes. Special sizes and other optional equipment including special stands, valves, ladles, special controls are available to specifications.
APPLICATION
Pots are widely used for melting low temperature alloys (Lead, Tin, Solder Metal etc.) With melting temperature upto 500 C. These are equally effective for production requirements as well as for individual job requirements. The pots for melting glue, plastics, wax and such other products which require low heat could be supplied in same sizes with low watt density heaters fitted on specific request.
CONSTRUCTION
The melting pots crucible made of steel is suspended in a steel jacket. Replaceable heating elements are securely clamped to the bottom (and to the sides in deep models) of the crucibles far even heat distribution. Fibreglass and air insulation reduce heat loss to a minimum. Attractively styled, these are equipped with INFATROL (Percentage Input Controller) for temperature regulation, indicating pilot lights, 2 meters long, 3 conductor grounded and metallic shielded cordset.

INFATROL
Many heating applications do not lend themselves to thermostat control. In such cases the infatrol controller is recommended. The device operates on a timed cycle during which a set of heavy contacts are opened and closed for varying lengths of time. Manual adjustments of knob permits control of 10 % to 100 % of the power input. The INFATROL permits close control on applications where heat losses are constant-balancing heat input against heat losses. |
